Entry to Quarter 4's Software Project requires CSE11B, CSE100, CSE13B and CSE12B (all from Year 1), plus the SP Bootcamp in week 3.5 — clear these before Q4 starts.
Worth knowing
- Q1–Q2 is a fixed set of 6 core courses; only Q3 has elective slots (2 of them, alongside the now-core Computer Security).
- Operating Systems and Computer Security both moved from optional/elective status to compulsory in this revision — if you're checking an old study plan, expect it to be wrong here.
- Theoretical Foundations of Computer Science is the renamed Automata, Computability and Complexity (
CSE2315) — same content, new name and quarter. - Introduction to AI is brand new for 2026-27; its folder is empty until material gets collected.
