Assessment

No written exam. Final grade is a weighted rubric: Content 40%, Writing Quality 30%, Process 20%, Poster Presentation 10%. Milestones along the way (research plan in week 2, midterm presentation in week 5, two paper drafts in weeks 7–8) are formative and not separately graded, but skipping them undermines the final submission. A pass on the Information Literacy module is a hard requirement for receiving a grade at all.

Entry requires all of Year 1, Year 2 Q1–Q2, CSE200 Software Project, and the RP Bootcamp — this is the last gate before graduation-adjacent work.
The paper must be written entirely individually; only supervisor, writing-instruction and peer feedback are allowed as input.
Registration is via Project Forum, weeks 2.8–2.9 for the Q4 edition — separate from normal course enrolment.
